Four Shafts Shredder (MSC-Series)

The Enerpat MSC-E four shaft shredder is a versatile shear unit that cuts and tears material with four sets of counter-rotating cutters. It handles both flexible scrap and rigid stock and is especially effective on metal.

Enerpat four shaft models come in several sizes and hook up easily with other recycling gear. Every cutter disk is made of alloy steel and can be fitted with a tool steel tip. The purpose-built shaft and cutter layout let you swap disks in minutes. The tool steel tips change just as fast, sharply reducing downtime. A special disk profile grips the feed while using less power, keeping the shredder efficient and built to last.

Product Details

Detachable box

1.The shredder chamber housing can be removed from either side of the coupling. Once the bearing end plates are taken off, the entire drive shaft lifts out in one piece.

2.After the shaft is out, keep the cutter block and bearings for inspection and replace them if wear is found.

3.When the chamber is machined and re-installed, make sure the shaft and bearings are set exactly in the center so the structure stays intact and delivers a longer service life.


Heavy-load planetary reducer

1.The unit features a rigid cast reducer housing with gusset reinforcement.

2.The tough precision machined gears are made of premium alloy steel, and their surfaces are carburized and quenched.

3.Finish grinding of the gear teeth ensures steady power transfer, low noise, and higher load capacity.


Detachable cutter

1.Detachable blade design greatly reduces blade replacement time.

2.A complete crushing blade comprises of three parts.

3.It is quite easy to replace a worn blade: simply loosen and tighten the bolt.



Electric system

1.The electric cabinet is equipped with a Siemens/Schneider PLC.

2.The electric cabinet boasts a touch screen with a high capability of promoting human-machine interaction.

3.Siemens/Schneider electrical components are adopted.


Sealing system

1.The bearing has a quadruple sealing protection design which makes it dust proof and waterproof, effectively prolonging the service life of the bearing.

2.Therefore, it can work excellently in an outdoor,  highly dusty environment.



Splined main shaft

1.The moving blade base and the main shaft align in spline transmission.

2.The design consist of a large surface junction without stress concentration.

3.The spiral configuration of the moving blade base can enhance its crushing efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

4.The moving blade base has been tested by using 100% ultrasonic and non-destructive inspection to maximize the cutter's crushing capacity. dimensional uniformity of crushed products.


Heavy-load self-aligning bearing

1.We install heavy-load self-aligning bearings on two main shafts.

2.When a blade is impacted by a heavy load,the heavy-load self-aligning bearing produces an immense mechanical action that relieves the impact force.

3.We choose the world's leading bearings.of brands such as FAG and SKF as a standard configuration for all ENERPAT shredders.
