Waste Shredders
Built for the long haul, ENERPAT shredders run on Siemens motors paired with Schneider electrics and chew through almost any material you feed them. Add the right modules and the system becomes a full shredding line that pulls out ferrous and nonferrous metals. Cutting is handled by Dillinger blades made in Germany, kept in stock and quick to swap, while several loading and discharge setups fit your workflow. Pick from single shaft shredders, two shaft shredders, single shaft pre shredders, and hammer mills.
The ENERPAT Two-Shaft Scrap Metal Shredder processes light to medium gauge ferrous and nonferrous scrap with a low-speed, high-torque hydraulic drive. Powerful shearing and tearing action breaks bulky scrap into manageable pieces. Its 400 kW drive processes up to 15–20 tonnes per hour and improves nonferrous metal recovery.

  • Supports high-volume scrap yards, ELV recyclers, and metal recycling plants processing vehicle bodies, bulky ferrous scrap, and nonferrous metals.

  • Reduces oversized metal into manageable pieces while improving bulk density and releasing aluminium and copper for downstream sorting.

The ENERPAT MSA-R1600 Tire Steel Wire Separator is built for tyre recycling and rubber processing, efficiently separating embedded steel wire from tyre chips and rubber scrap. Integrating grinding, screening, and magnetic separation, it achieves 98–99% steel recovery with up to 5 tonnes/hour capacity for high-value material recovery.

Suits tyre recyclers moving from basic tyre shredding to higher-value rubber and steel recovery.
Helps overcome the purity barrier that limits tyre chips from entering granulation, crumb rubber production, or premium downstream markets.

The ENERPAT MSB-ETY1600 Double Shaft Tire Recycling Shredder is designed for whole tyre processing with a high-torque dual-shaft cutting system. It reduces passenger, truck, and OTR tyres into chips smaller than 50×100 mm for TDF, pyrolysis, and rubber recycling. Its modular design supports integration into complete 3 TPH tyre recycling lines.

Fits tyre recyclers moving beyond collection, storage, or baling into material recovery, TDF supply, pyrolysis preparation, or crumb rubber production.
Solves the front-end bottleneck of whole-tyre handling by enabling continuous primary shredding before steel separation, granulation, and line expansion.

FAQs
  • Q: How do I choose the right shredder for my recycling business?
    Created with Sketch.
    形状 Created with Sketch.
A: Choose your shredder based on the material, required output size, and downstream process.
    • Two Shaft Shredders are best for bulky and mixed materials.
    • Single Shaft Shredders produce more controlled particle sizes.
    • Four Shaft Shredders combine the advantages of both, handling bulky materials while producing more uniform output through screened size control.
    • Hammer Mills are ideal when higher material liberation and cleaning are required.
    • Tyre Shredders are designed specifically for tyre recycling.
  • Q: What's the difference between a standard two shaft shredder and a hydraulic two shaft shredder?
    Created with Sketch.
    形状 Created with Sketch.
A: Both machines use dual-shaft shearing technology, but they are designed for different applications.
    • Standard Two Shaft Shredders offer the widest material compatibility and are suitable for plastics, wood, tyres, e-waste, RDF, and general industrial waste.
    • Hydraulic Two Shaft Shredders provide much higher torque through hydraulic drive, making them ideal for heavy ferrous and nonferrous scrap such as ELVs, scrap cars, car bodies, and thick aluminium.
If your business mainly handles bulky metal scrap or end-of-life vehicles, a hydraulic two shaft shredder is usually the better choice.
  • Q: What Output Size Can Different Shredders Produce?
    Created with Sketch.
    形状 Created with Sketch.
A: Different shredders produce different output sizes depending on their cutting design and whether they use screens.
    • Single Shaft Shredders typically produce 20mm or 40mm output using interchangeable screens.
    • Four Shaft Shredders usually produce 40mm or 60mm material for more controlled size reduction.
    • Hammer Mills deliver finer output, commonly 8mm or 12mm, for high-purity material recovery.
    • Two Shaft Shredders produce irregular strips without screens, making them ideal for primary shredding before downstream processing.
  • Q: Which shredder is suitable for processing scrap cars or ELVs?
    Created with Sketch.
    形状 Created with Sketch.
A: It depends on your recycling goals.
    • Hydraulic Two Shaft Scrap Metal Shredders suits for for primary size reduction. They quickly cut vehicle bodies into smaller pieces, reducing volume for easier transport and downstream processing.
    • A Horizontal Hammer Mill is designed for secondary shredding. This machine further liberate metals, remove attached waste materials such as paint and oil residues, and produce cleaner materials for higher-value recovery.
For high-volume ELV recycling plants, many recyclers combine both machines into one processing line. The hydraulic two shaft shredder performs the initial shredding, while the hammer mill completes fine shredding and material cleaning. This configuration delivers higher throughput and better recovery efficiency than using a hammer mill alone.
  • Q: Can one shredder process different materials?
    Created with Sketch.
    形状 Created with Sketch.
A: Yes, but the best shredder depends on the material you process.
    • Standard Two Shaft Shredders are suitable for plastics, wood, tyres, RDF, and mixed industrial waste.
    • Hydraulic Two Shaft Shredders are designed for heavy metal scrap.
    • Single Shaft Shredders work well for baled materials and medium-hard waste.
    • Hammer Mills are commonly used when higher metal liberation is required.
