Lithium Ion Battery Recycling System
The ENERPAT® Li-ion Battery Recycling System brings together a feed unit, crusher, fire suppression, inspection and service modules, and smart monitoring. A lift moves the batteries into a sealed buffer chamber, where nitrogen is injected at once to cut the oxygen level. When the oxygen drops below 5 percent, a valve opens and the batteries enter the nitrogen-shielded crusher, where they are shredded to about 30 mm (discharge size adjustable). The fragments fall through the hopper and are carried to the next stage by an auger conveyor.
