ENERPAT ED-400 Metal Chip Wringer

The ENERPAT ED-400 Metal Chip Wringer is a compact centrifugal de-oiling machine designed to remove cutting oil and coolant. Using high-speed centrifugal separation, the ED-400 achieves an oil removal rate of 97% or higher, leaving approximately 3% residual oil. It features a φ400 mm drum, 4 kW motor and maximum speed of 1200 r/min, and is designed for metal chips in the 3–50 mm size range.

Watch the ED-400 Metal Chip Wringer Video

The video demonstrates the ED-400 processing oily metal chips through a high-speed centrifugal de-oiling cycle.

Metal chips enter the drum, where rotational force separates cutting oil and coolant from the solid material. The separated liquid is collected, while the processed chips are discharged automatically for subsequent handling.

Product Description

ENERPAT ED-400 Metal Chip Wringer

ENERPAT ED-400 Metal Chip Wringer

The ED-400 separates cutting oil and coolant from metal chips through centrifugal force generated by high-speed drum rotation.

The machine is suited to chips produced by machining centers, lathes, milling machines and grinding machines. By reducing residual liquid content, it prepares the chips for downstream baling, melting, recycling or reuse.

9 Key Core Advantages
Design & Product Story
Metal chips from machining often carry cutting oil and coolant, creating additional handling requirements before recycling or further processing.
The ED-400 was developed to centrifugal separation and automated discharge. Its feeding, de-oiling and unloading functions work together to provide a streamlined chip-processing workflow.
Why Choose Us?
FAQs
  • Q1: Can I Send My Metal Chips for Testing?
    Created with Sketch.
    形状 Created with Sketch.
Yes. ENERPAT provides material sample testing for metal chips before equipment selection. You can send samples for testing, and we can evaluate the chip shape, size, oil or coolant content and processing characteristics. Test results can be used to recommend a suitable de-oiling solution.
  • Q2: Can the ED-400 Process Long Metal Chips?
    Created with Sketch.
    形状 Created with Sketch.
It depends on the material condition. If the chips are long, stringy or contain a high proportion of elongated pieces, they should generally be shredded or broken into a more uniform size before de-oiling. This helps prevent bridging or material blockage inside the wringer and supports more stable operation. ENERPAT can assess your samples and recommend pre-processing equipment when required.
  • Q3: Is the ED-400 Metal Chip Wringer Available from Stock?
    Created with Sketch.
    形状 Created with Sketch.
Availability depends on the production schedule and current inventory. Contact ENERPAT with your required model and delivery location to confirm current stock status and the estimated shipping date.
  • Q4: How Does ENERPAT Ensure Equipment Quality?
    Created with Sketch.
    形状 Created with Sketch.
ENERPAT provides equipment inspection and testing before shipment. Key components and machine functions are checked according to the equipment specifications, and customers can receive testing information and technical documentation as applicable.
  • Q5: What About Delivery and After-Sales Support?
    Created with Sketch.
    形状 Created with Sketch.
ENERPAT coordinates equipment production, inspection, packaging and shipment according to the project schedule. After delivery, technical support is available for installation, commissioning, operation and troubleshooting. For projects requiring additional assistance, ENERPAT can also provide technical guidance based on the customer's material and processing conditions.
