Product Video
The video demonstrates the processing of automotive wire harness scrap through a mechanical shredding, granulation, and separation system.
Waste automotive wiring is first prepared for processing. When the harness material is bulky or difficult to feed, a pre-shredding stage can be used to reduce its size before fine granulation.
The prepared wire then enters the granulation stage, where it is reduced into smaller particles before screening.
After screening, the material moves into the air separation stage. The heavier copper particles are separated from the lighter plastic insulation and collected separately.
The process demonstrates how several stages can work together to handle automotive harness scrap and prepare the recovered copper and plastic for further recycling.
Product Description

The ENERPAT Automotive Wire Harness Granulator is designed around the practical requirements of automotive wire recycling.
It can be configured to process suitable auto harness wire, car wire harness, automotive wiring harness, automotive harness scrap, wiring harness scrap, and other copper-containing automotive wire.
Large or tangled harnesses can be difficult to feed directly into a granulator. For these materials, a double shaft shredder can be installed before the granulation stage to reduce bulky wire bundles into smaller and more manageable pieces.
The pre-shredded material then enters the fine granulation stage before moving through screening and air separation.
During air separation, differences in the physical properties of copper and plastic help separate the heavier copper fraction from the lighter plastic insulation.
A dust collection system can also be integrated when required to manage fine particles generated during shredding, granulation, and screening.
Conveyors can be used to connect the different processing stages, creating a continuous material flow and reducing manual handling.
