Product Description

After hemp stalks are processed, the resulting hurd or shiv is a relatively loose bulk material. Depending on the processing method and material condition, large volumes can occupy substantial floor and transport space.
For businesses selling hemp hurd as animal bedding, hempcrete raw material, insulation material, agricultural products, or other processed hemp products, simply storing the loose material is often not the most practical way to handle it.
Common operating challenges include:
· Low bulk density and high storage volume
· Manual filling and packing labor
· Inconsistent package size or weight
· Difficult handling of loose material during loading and transportation
· Dust and material spillage around the packing area
· Higher logistics cost when shipping low-density bulk material
· Difficulty creating uniform retail, wholesale, or palletized packages
· Need to protect compressed hemp hurd from moisture and contamination during storage and transportation
A hemp hurd bagging baler machine addresses these problems by combining compression and bagging into one processing step.

The HBA-B140 is designed around a straightforward workflow:
Loose Hemp Hurd → Feeding → Hydraulic Compression → Bale Ejection → Bagging
The material is loaded into the hopper and compressed hydraulically. After compression, the formed bale is discharged into a pre-positioned bag.
This approach allows processors to handle hemp hurd as a compact, uniform packaged product instead of moving large quantities of loose bulk material.
For larger processing facilities, the HBA-B140 can also be integrated with upstream and downstream equipment such as a feeding conveyor, weighing conveyor and bag sealing equipment, depending on the required packaging process.
ENERPAT has already supplied a complete hemp bagging system using a feeder, discharge conveyor, weighing conveyor, HBA-series bagging press and sealing machine for a hemp-processing application.
