In July 2026, ENERPAT sales and technical team visited a recycling company in Saltillo, Mexico, to provide on-site equipment inspection, repair support, and technical consultation for future recycling system upgrades.
The customer is an experienced recycling company specializing in scrap collection, sorting, compression processing, and material recovery. Their recycling operations cover multiple material streams, including industrial metal scrap, paper and plastic waste, and electronic waste.
During this service visit, ENERPAT focused on two key objectives:
Inspecting and troubleshooting the customer's existing AMB-H1075-100 Metal Baler
Discussing potential upgrades for improving scrap metal processing efficiency
Through direct communication and on-site evaluation, ENERPAT provided targeted technical recommendations to help the customer improve equipment reliability and optimize future recycling operations.
During the visit, ENERPAT engineers inspected the customer's existing AMB-H1075-100 Metal Baler, which was purchased as a used machine in 2021.
The customer reported several operational issues with the equipment, including:
Hydraulic oil pump failure
Limit switch malfunction caused by poor contact
Damage to the front pressing head of the main cylinder
The customer's maintenance team had attempted to repair the equipment but was unable to restore normal operation.
After a detailed inspection, ENERPAT engineers analyzed the equipment condition and provided professional troubleshooting recommendations.
ENERPAT also introduced the option of replacing the existing unit with a new AMB-H1075-100 Metal Baler, which could provide improved reliability and reduce future maintenance requirements.
However, after evaluating their current production needs, the customer decided to repair the existing equipment first.
ENERPAT will continue supporting the customer by supplying the required spare parts and providing technical assistance to help restore stable machine operation.
Besides after-sales service support, ENERPAT also discussed the customer's future expansion plans for scrap metal processing.
The customer is currently operating a hammer mill system and is evaluating the addition of a pre-shredding system to improve processing efficiency and increase overall production capacity.
The main project requirements include:
Processing capacity: approximately 10 tons/hour
Application: Pre-processing scrap metal before hammer mill crushing
Goal: Improve material preparation efficiency and optimize downstream crushing performance
During the technical discussion, ENERPAT introduced the E2000-M Metal Shredder solution.
The customer showed strong interest in the equipment and focused on several key technical factors, including:
Shredder knife service life
Equipment durability
Integration with the existing hammer mill system
Based on the customer's existing production layout, ENERPAT will further evaluate the complete process arrangement, including:
Metal shredder positioning
Feeding system design
Discharge conveyor configuration
Overall layout optimization
To better evaluate the shredding solution, the customer expressed interest in visiting a similar operating installation.
ENERPAT will arrange an equipment demonstration after the E2000-M Metal Shredder project in Mexico is completed and running.
The site visit will allow the customer to review:
Actual shredding performance
Material processing efficiency
Equipment operation stability
System integration results
During the site visit, ENERPAT also identified potential opportunities related to copper and aluminum radiator recycling.
Although the customer's current radiator processing volume is limited, this application could become a potential future business opportunity.
ENERPAT will provide relevant recycling information and recommend suitable solutions based on the customer's future material availability and processing requirements.
ENERPAT provides comprehensive support throughout the entire equipment lifecycle, from initial technical consultation and equipment selection to installation guidance, maintenance support, and future system upgrades.
Through regular customer visits and professional engineering services, ENERPAT helps recycling companies:
