Twin Shaft Tire Shredding Equipment

The ENERPAT Twin Shaft Tire Shredding Equipment is designed for the first-stage processing of ELT in recycling operations.
Because of its large size, elastic structure, and reinforced steel wires. Before producing rubber granules, tires usually need to be reduced into smaller pieces.
This equipment uses a low-speed and high-torque cutting system to process tires and rubber materials. The machine shears tires into chips, providing feeding material for downstream separation.
For tire recycling companies, stable primary shredding is essential for improving the efficiency of the complete recycling process. ENERPAT provides configurable tire shredding solutions according to tire types, required capacity, and recycling products.

Product Video

Twin Shaft Tire Shredding Equipment

The video demonstrates the ENERPAT Twin Shaft Tire Shredding Equipment processing waste tires in a recycling facility.

Whole tires are fed into the shredding chamber, where the twin shafts rotate at controlled speed and apply strong cutting forces.

The tires are gradually reduced into smaller pieces, allowing the shredded material to move efficiently to the next recycling stage.

The operation shows the equipment's ability to handle bulky tire materials while maintaining stable production and consistent output.

Product Description

ENERPAT Twin Shaft Tire Shredding Equipment

The ENERPAT Twin Shaft Tire Shredding Equipment uses two counter-rotating shafts with specially designed cutting knives.

During operation, tires are grabbed by the rotating shafts and gradually shredded through continuous shearing. The process reduces the volume of whole tires while maintaining stable material flow.

The system configuration can be customized according to different recycling targets, such as TDF fuel, rubber mulch, rubber granules, or fine rubber powder.

Design & Product Story
The first challenge in tire recycling is not producing rubber powder or granules. It is reducing large, durable tires into a size that the rest of the system can process efficiently.
End-of-life tires combine multiple materials, including rubber, steel wire, and textile fibers. Their structure makes them difficult to handle with ordinary crushing equipment.
The ENERPAT Twin Shaft Tire Shredding Equipment was developed to solve this first-stage recycling challenge.
The twin-shaft cutting system works through controlled tearing and shearing. Instead of breaking tires through high-speed impact, the equipment gradually reduces tire size while maintaining a stable material flow.
After shredding, the processed tire chips can move through separation and refining equipment. Steel can be recovered, rubber can be processed into different products, and the overall recycling workflow becomes easier to manage.
For tire recycling operators, choosing the primary shredder affects the efficiency of the entire production line. A stable stage helps downstream equipment perform better and creates a more reliable recycling operation.
