Two Shaft Tire Shredder

The ENERPAT Two Shaft Tire Shredder is designed for the primary size-reduction stage of waste tire recycling.
Rather than producing fine rubber granules directly, the machine focuses on breaking whole passenger and truck tires into manageable pieces before downstream crushing, screening and separation.
With a processing capacity of approximately 10–15 tons per hour, the shredder can reduce suitable waste tires to approximately 50–100 mm. The resulting tire pieces can then be transferred to secondary processing equipment for steel separation, further size reduction and rubber recovery.
The machine can also be integrated into a complete tire recycling line, allowing recyclers to expand from primary shredding to further granulation as their business develops.
Note: This machine is not suitable for oversized OTR mining tires with diameters of approximately 1,400–4,000 mm, as these tires exceed the applicable feeding dimensions.

ENERPAT Two Shaft Tire Shredder

The Two Shaft Tire Shredder uses a dual-shaft shear shredding system to process whole waste tires at low speed and high torque.

As the two shafts rotate, the cutting tools grip and tear the tire, reducing bulky rubber and steel-reinforced structures into approximately 50–100 mm pieces.

The machine can operate as a standalone primary shredder or be connected with secondary shredders, magnetic separators, screens and conveyors to form a continuous tire recycling process.

Whole waste tires are difficult to handle because their elastic rubber structure and steel reinforcement make direct size reduction challenging.
The Two Shaft Tire Shredder is positioned at the beginning of the recycling process, where its main task is to reduce the physical size of whole tires rather than produce the final rubber product.
After primary shredding, the 50–100 mm material can enter subsequent crushing and separation stages. Magnetic separation can recover steel, while further size reduction and screening can prepare the rubber for TDF, rubber granules or rubber powder production.
This staged approach gives each machine a defined role in the recycling process and allows the overall line to be configured according to the customer's final product requirements.
